Maria Blant
- Relational Integrative Psychotherapist
"Earth will be safe when we feel within us enough safety."
Thich Nhat Hanh
I work with adult individuals offering both short and longer term therapy, mainly to those struggling with loss, grief, abuse & trauma.
Many people I work with initially describe feeling lost, confused, stuck or overwhelmed. Many of us also have a sense of shame, worthlessness or hopelessness connected to our pasts requiring trauma-informed interventions.
My approach is Relational & Integrative using traditional talk therapies & mind-body therapies to work with difficulties such as:
- symptoms of depression & anxiety;
- loss incl. grief & trauma (including complicated bereavement, complex trauma & issues around attachment);
- issues affecting sense of identity & sense of self;
- issues affecting our ability to form and maintain nourishing relationships.
Believing in the power of connection, I am committed to empowering clients to navigate the complexities of life and achieve a deeper understanding of themselves, while equipping them with the tools needed to cultivate self-awareness, facilitate personal growth and emotional resilience.
I provide a warm, supportive, confidential space with compassion, empathy and zero judgement - where clients can feel safe to explore, process and integrate their thoughts, emotions, feelings and body wisdom in relationship with me.
